How to clean the milk system of a Jura E8 ?

To ensure the proper functioning of your milk system, daily maintenance is required.

Good to Know    

1. The use of improper detergents can lead to machine damage and residue in the water. We offer JURA and SOLUTE milk system detergents in our online shop.
2. For system cleaning, use the provided container.
3. At the end of the day, if your Cool Control still contains milk, we recommend placing the metal container in the fridge overnight. This is advice from our supplier Bodart to prevent the milk from freezing. When the container is placed in the fridge, you can turn off the Cool Control.

The Text Guide

For cleaning the milk system:

1. Press the "P" button.
2. Press the "Milk System Cleaning" button.
3. Press "Start."
4. Press the "Continue" button.
5. Remove the milk hose from the milk container or milk carton.
6. Pour milk system detergent into the provided container up to the lower mark.
7. Then, pour water into the container up to the upper mark.
8. Place the provided container under the fine foam frother and connect the hose to the container. (If you are using the Pro fine foam frother, set the adjustment dial to the Milk Foam position).
9. Important to know: To properly connect the milk hose to the container, the milk hose must have a connector.
10. Once everything is in place, press the "Continue" button. A message will appear: "Milk system cleaning." The cleaning of the fine foam frother and milk hose begins.
11. A new message will appear: "Fill with water." Thoroughly rinse the container and pour fresh water into the provided container up to the upper mark.
12. Place the container under the milk outlet and reconnect the hose to the container.
13. Press the "Continue" button: the fine foam frother and hose are rinsed with fresh water. The operation stops automatically.
