How to replace the filter of your Jura A1?

There are two advantages to using these filters:
- The first is that you will not have to descale (or very rarely) your machine. It will operate with healthier water for its mechanism.
- The second is that the taste of your coffee will be even better.

The Jura A1 machine requires Claris Blue filter cartridges available on our online store.
How to replace the filter?
As soon as the filter symbol lights up:
- Press the filter symbol for 2 seconds. The water tank symbol lights up.
- Remove the water tank.
- Open the filter holder and remove the old filter cartridge.
- Insert a new Claris filter cartridge into the water tank, applying slight pressure.
- Close the filter holder. It will click audibly into place.
- Fill the water tank with fresh water and reinsert it.
- The coffee grounds container symbol lights up.
- Empty the drip tray and the coffee grounds container. Then, reinsert them.
- The filter symbol lights up. Press the symbol to initiate the filter rinsing.
- Four symbols flash, and water flows directly into the drip tray.
- When the filter is rinsed, the grounds container symbol lights up.
- Empty the drip tray and the grounds container. Then, reinsert everything.
- The machine heats up and is ready for use.
