How to change your Jura Giga x3 filter?

Your machine needs regular maintenance and likes to remind you of this. When the home screen displays "Change filter", it's time ;-)

Good to Know

We recommend using the CLARIS Pro Smart filter cartridges available on our website (not Claris Smart).

Also, if your machine is a Jura Giga X3C (i.e. connected to the water system), the system may be different. Contact us at support@javry.com if you have any doubts :-) !

The steps in text

1. As soon as your machine asks you to change the filter :
2. Remove the water tank and empty it,
3. Open the filter holder and remove the old Claris Pro Smart filter cartridge.
4. Press the new filter cartridge gently into the water tank.
5. Close the filter holder. It will engage with an audible click.
6. Fill the water tank with fresh water and replace it. The machine automatically detects that you have just inserted the filter cartridge and the message "Filter mode"/"Saved" appears on the display.
7. The filter is rinsed and water flows directly into the drip tray.
8. Filter rinsing stops automatically. Empty drip tray" message appears.
9. Empty the residual water tray and the grounds tray, then replace them.
10. That's it! :-)
