How to clean your Jura Giga X3 milk system?

Pour garantir le bon fonctionnement de votre système de lait, un entretien quotidien est nécessaire.  Vous trouverez dans cet article les étapes pour nettoyer celui de la Jura Giga X3.

Good to know

1. The use of inappropriate detergents can lead to machine deterioration and residue in the water. We offer JURA and Solute milk system detergents in our online shop.
2. For cleaning the system, use the provided container.
3. At the end of the day, if your Cool Control still contains milk, we recommend placing the metal container in the fridge (for the night). This is a tip from our supplier Bodart to prevent the milk from freezing. When the container is in the fridge, you can turn off the Cool Control.

To clean the milk system:

1. When the home screen displays "Clean milk system", press "Milk system cleaning".
2. Press "Start"
3. Press "Start" again. The messages "Detergent milk syst." and "Connect milk pipe" appear successively.
4. Remove the milk pipe from the milk container.
5. Pour one capful of milk system detergent into the rear compartment of the container,
6. Place the container under the combined spout and connect the milk pipe to the container (the pipe must be equipped with a connector).
7. Press "Next". The message "Cleaning milk system" appears and the cleaning starts.
8. The operation stops automatically. Once finished, your GIGA X3 is ready to use again. It's time for a good cappuccino! :-)
