How to clean a Jura GIGA X8 ?

Does your Jura GIGA X8 machine need cleaning? Or do you want to clean it before moving?

Good to know

1. Your Jura machine needs to be cleaned after 180 coffees (preparations) or 80 rinses when switched on. 
2. Javry recommends the use of Jura or Solute detergent tablets to clean your machine. The use of other products could damage your machine. 
3. It is important not to interrupt the cleaning program once it has started, as this could also damage your machine or render it unusable.
4. A cleaning takes about 20 minutes, but it will only take a few minutes of your time (the machine cleans itself).

Once your machine displays "Clean Device

1. Press "Clean Device".
2. Press "Clean".
3. Press "Start".
4.  Press "Start" again. 
5.  Empty the drip tray and coffee grounds container, then replace them.
6. Place a container under the combination spout. 
7. Press the Rotary Switch. Machine cleaning", water flows out of the combination spout. The operation is interrupted, "Insert a detergent tablet".
8. Open the lid of the filling funnel for ground coffee.  
9. Add a JURA or SOLUTE cleaning tablet to the filling funnel.
10. Close the lid of the filling funnel.
11. Press the Rotary Switch.  Machine cleaning", water flows out of the combined outlet several times. The operation stops automatically.
12. Empty the drip tray and the coffee grounds container and replace them. 
13. The cleaning is finished. Have a good coffee ;)
