How to change your Jura Giga X8 filter?

Your machine requires regular maintenance, and it likes to remind you of that. When the filter symbol appears red, it's time to change it.

Good to Know

It is advisable to use CLARIS Pro Smart filter cartridges or CLARIS Pro Smart MAXI filter cartridges, which are available on our website.

As soon as your machine requests the filter replacement (the filter symbol appears red):

1. Remove the water reservoir and empty it.
   
2. Open the filter holder and remove the old CLARIS Pro Smart filter cartridge.
3. Insert a new CLARIS Pro Smart filter cartridge into the water reservoir, applying slight pressure.
4. Close the filter holder. It will click audibly into place.
5. Fill the water reservoir with fresh water and put it back in place.
6. The machine will automatically detect that you have installed/replaced the filter cartridge.
7. Let water flow into the drip tray.
8. Empty the drip tray and coffee grounds container, then put them back in place.
9. There you go, you have changed the filter of your GIGA X8, and it is ready to use.
