Jura X4 - Filter Replacement

Your machine needs regular maintenance, and it likes to remind you of that. When the filter symbol appears in red, it's time to change it.

Good to know
For this, it's advisable to use the CLARIS Pro Smart+ filter cartridges available on our site (and not the Claris Smart).

This guide shows you, step-by-step with images, how to replace the filter in an X4 machine:

Steps in text
As soon as your machine prompts you to replace the filter (the filter icon appears in red):

1. On the home screen, press the bottom-right button for three seconds.
2. In the menu, the 'Filter' icon at the bottom will be red.
3. Open the cover located above the water reservoir.
4. Remove the water reservoir and empty it.
5. Open the filter holder and remove the filter cartridge.
6. Open a new filter.
7. Insert the new cartridge with a slight push.
8. Fill the reservoir and replace it.
9. The machine will automatically detect the filter and begin a rinse cycle.
10. The rinse will stop automatically.
11. A confirmation message will appear.

And that's it, you're done!
