Jura W8 - Cleaning the milk system

To ensure the proper functioning of the milk system in your Jura W8 coffee machine, daily maintenance is required.

Good to Know
Using inappropriate detergents can lead to damage to the machine and the presence of residues in the water. We offer detergents for the milk system from the brands JURA and SOLUTE in our online store.
For cleaning the system, use the provided container.
At the end of the day, if your Cool Control still contains milk, we recommend placing the metal container in the fridge (overnight). This is a suggestion from our supplier Bodart to prevent the milk from freezing. When the container is placed in the fridge, you can turn off the Cool Control.

Steps
To clean the milk system:

1. Start facing the home screen of your Jura WE8.
2. Press the button at the bottom right for 3 seconds.
3. The menu will appear: press the red button.
4. The duration and instructions will be displayed.
5. Press "Start."
6. The message "Cleaning the milk system" will appear.
7. Take the container dedicated to cleaning the milk system.
8. Pour a dose of detergent into this system by pressing once.
9. Remove the milk hose from the milk container or the milk cooler.
10. Place the container under the hot water outlet and the fine foam nozzle.
11. Connect the milk hose to the container containing the detergent.
12. Press "Next."
13. The screen will display the progress of the cleaning.
14. The container will fill up.
15. The cleaning is complete: the home screen will be displayed.
