How to change the filter of a Jura X6

Your machine requires regular maintenance, and it kindly reminds you when it's time to change the filter. When the filter symbol turns red, it means it's time for a replacement.

Good to Know

It is recommended to use CLARIS Pro Smart filter cartridges, available on our website, instead of Claris Smart filters.

Step by Step Instructions

When your machine indicates the need to replace the filter (the filter icon turns red), follow these steps:

1. Remove the water reservoir and empty it.
2. Open the filter holder and remove the old CLARIS Pro Smart filter cartridge.
3. Insert the new filter cartridge into the water reservoir, applying slight pressure.
4. Close the filter holder. It will click into place audibly.
5. Fill the water reservoir with fresh water and put it back in place. The machine will automatically detect the new filter cartridge, and the message "registered" will appear on the screen.
6. The message "rinsing the filter" will appear, and water will flow directly into the drip tray.
7. The rinsing process will stop automatically, and the home screen will be displayed.
