How to clean a Jura D4 ?

After 180 brews, the Jura D4 machine will require cleaning. Hygiene is the key to great coffee, isn't it?

Good to know

1. The cleaning program takes about 20 minutes, but it only takes a few minutes of your time: the machine cleans itself.
2. Javry recommends the use of Jura or Solute detergent tablets to clean your machine. The use of other products could damage your machine.
3. It is important not to interrupt the cleaning program once it has started, as this could render the machine unusable.

When the cleaning symbol lights up :

1. Touch the symbol for about two seconds. 
2. The coffee grounds container symbol lights up: empty the drip tray and the coffee grounds container.
3. Put it back in place.
4. The cleaning symbol lights up.
5. Place a container under the coffee spout.
6. Touch the symbol again for two seconds.
7. The cleaning symbol flashes: water flows out of the coffee spout.
8. When the operation is stopped, the cleaning symbol lights up.
9. Open the lid of the ground coffee funnel and add a Jura or Solute cleaning tablet.
10. Close the lid.
11. The cleaning symbol lights up.
12. Touch the cleaning symbol for two seconds.
13. The cleaning symbol flashes again and water flows out of the coffee spout several times.
14. The operation stops automatically.
15. The coffee grounds container symbol lights up.
16. Empty the drip tray and the coffee grounds container.
17. Put it all back in place.
18. Congratulations: your machine is clean!
